Well guys she is gone but the memories both good and bad will always be there.

But hey I will still be around on here from time to time.

Re: I just said goodbye

Yea I have had an M3 for about a month now and still everytime I get in to the seat I get a smile on my face.

It just feels quicker, better balanced, and stops on a dime. It all adds up to a much more fun time behind the wheel. But I do know I will miss a few things like the in dash 6 disk CD and the remote door locks to the exhaust sound and the way it would kick sideways in first.

Now I would love to return to the world of Ford but its going to have to take a lot of work on their part. I want to see a real sports car that’s good out of the box. The current mustang is good but doesn’t cut it and the GT500 isn’t up to the challenge. To quote a friend “It’s like using a sledge hammer to drive a nail. It will work but its far from the right tool for the job.”

BMW are a much better over all drivers car. to get the same experience from Ford you would have to get a SVT Contour. (not the same level, i just mean the the well balanced, break/handle/power factor)

AAAHH no. Not the same level no where near the braking, no where near the handling and no where near not even close to the power factor. There is no way even possibly you can compare an M3 BMW to a SVT Countour. To compare these two cars is like comparing spam to prime rib.

Very nice choice in cars 01L2Cobra. I think you will be hard pressed to see anything by ford that will come close to what you have now. Just not in the same class.

Re: I just said goodbye

The M3 has a Dinan intake, Dinan exhaust, Dinan stage 1 chip, Ground Control RTAB shims, and an X-brace this week. Off the line it may not be as fast but from a roll it seems to be. The gearing in the Cobra wasn’t all that great and the M3 actually has some decent pull in 5th. In the turns the Cobra is no match for the M3.
