Question Steering box...?

I was told that i need to get a steering box for my 1994 caprice LT1, i just changed the powersteering pump and it seems to be working fine, and they just did the alignment, but the car still slightly pulls to the right, how do i know if i need a stering pump, and would that cause the slight pull? also could anyone give me some prices on steering pumps? thanks in advance

If they just did an alignment on it, and it still pulls, chances are you've got a tire about to go south. You could also have inflation differences (they should have checked that during the alignment procedure), or two different sized or type tires on the same axle (again, that should have been checked for). My bet is on a tire that's beginning to separate. As for the gearbox (I'm assuming that's what you meant), you'd need that generally only if there's a lot of play in the wheel, or it excessively leaks. The pump itself has nothing to do with the alignment of the car or any pull.
