Re: side mirror help

I know on the 99, the mirror glass just snaps off and on,, be very careful... For some reason, the wire for the heat grid came undone on my 99, I tried to be careful, but still cracked the glass when taking it off, new one heated costs around $45, what a rip.

Re: side mirror help

I recently removed the mirror lens from mine. I pressed the mirror as far to the side as I could and used a small to medium size screw driver to pry a couple of the plastic retainer clips open, releasing the mirror. It takes some patience and fooling around but you can safely do it.
