Question 95 Cutlass Supreme

I might be looking to sell our 1995 Cutlass Supreme sedan...
It is my sisters and there is about 160k miles on the car...
I hit a guard rail with it about 3 weeks ago which resulted in no frame dammage, but I picked up a new hood, driver fender, driver side blinker, and headlight pannel for it at a pick-ur-part today and I intend to install them tomorrow...
The car is black with black leather interior(nice, no holes, cuts or even scrapes in the leather) and owners have all been non smokers.
The engine is still strong and passes CA smog easily, but it does burn about 1/4 or 1/5 of a qt of oil for every 3 tanks of gas or so...
Only about 2 thousand miles on new tires, I need to top off the AC before and if we sell, there is a small exhaust leak in the y pipe that was fixed once(I think I will go back to the pick-ur-part and get a replacement y pipe), stock CD player with controls on the steering wheel(player was replaced with a referbished player about 3 years ago), keyless entry...
It really is a nice car and in beautiful shape...

So I figure it would be fair to ask 3k for the car if there was nothing else to say, but here is the ticker...it was in an accident a couple years ago(my older sister) there was no frame damage, but the damage included the front bumper, hood, windshield, and air bags and since the car had full coverage at the time, it was declared totalled...but we fixed it and it passed the safety inspection.
So that is my dilemma, I dont want to ask too much for this car...its in nice shape, but has a salvage tittle...
Does anyone know what would be a fare asking price for this cutlass?
Thanks in advance for your time and your suggestions.
Be well

Re: 95 Cutlass Supreme

My '95 is in very good shape and has only 80k. It is only worth about $5k. With the salvage title, you run into the problem of a prospective buyer thinking the car was totaled with MAJOR damage, such as a bent frame and major body damage, unless the buyer understands just what a salvage title is. If you can prove/convince the buyer that the car was fixed and there are no lingering problems or residual effects, then I would guess that a fair asking price would be btwn $2-$3k. Miles are average, but since it burns a little oil, that may be a concern to the new owner.
