2002 silverado - want 20s

I have a 2002 Regular cab sportside Silverado. I'm looking for some 20's, with hopefully the entire wheel/tire package less than $1800.

I know I can't find some good chrome wheels at that price, but I may be able to wait a little and get some.

What are the pros/cons of chrome and polished aluminum wheels? And what good rims can I get for that price?

Discount Tires (tires.com) offered some American Racing 20's that were polished with the tires for $1800.

we have many 20" options for your truck in your price range ... check it out at www.tirerack.com ... on another note you need to be very careful that whatever you select has the proper load capacity. Any wheel that you see listed for your truck on our site does have the proper load capacity

I think you may have over looked something because I see several wheels that are 16" all the way up to 24" ... remember to hit the little red arrow to the right of the wheels

Through that link (4 wheel drive), I can see 19 of them...but if you do this:

Go to www.tirerack.com and under "Search for Wheels", select "Chevrolet" "2002", then "Silverado 1500HD 2wd", only 3 come up...

The HD model is designed to carry more weight and use load range E tires. Larger wheels would not have enough load capacity to carry the same amount of weight that is why there are only 16" wheel listed. The wheels listed for a standard 1500 would fit the truck but would not have the same capacity. If you do not haul heavy loads you can select from the selection for the standard 1500 where you will find the larger sizes.
