well, I no longer have to worry about the death wobble on my '98 JGC... At least now that I blew the tranny. I was almost to work the other morning and as I was slowing almost to a stop at an intersection my rear wheels started skipping while trying to lock up. Just then the light changed and I let off the brakes and tapped the gas and it shifted hard and went. For the next few blocks is surged a little and shifted somewhat roughly and I made it to the parking lot. I had my brother-in-law load it on a trailer and give me a lift home after work and right now it's awaiting a tranny repair specialist to look at it. Any guesses as to what it's going to be? It was also acting a little strange while in reverse the day before and in hindsight, it surged a few times over the weekend at highway speeds. Is the overdrive a planetary gear setup? That would be my guess, but I don't know a whole lot about automatic trannys.
