Bracket Problems, please help!

Hey guys! I have a major problem. I have a 1980 Camaro with a 350 small block. It used to have accessory hole heads, but they have been changed to double humps without accessory holes. Well crap, none of my power steering or alternator brackets would work! (First rebuild) I did find some power steering brackets off of ebay that would work for the drivers side. But as far as the alternator, no go. I have bought all kinds of brackets for the alternator and havent taken them back. They are Mr. Gasket brackets but they are all for short water pumps and mine is a long style.

Re: Bracket Problems, please help!

Try going to a pick a part salvage yard and looking for a 350 engine with brackets that will work. You could probably get all the brackets for a great price...
Remember to take close up picks of your block with you to help you find a block with the same hole set-up as yours...
good luck
