O' So Slow!!!
My god,
I took the hatch to the track Friday night to see what it runs with the 1.5 DPFI and 4 speed before I do my switch to the D16A6 MPFI and 5 speed. I think I had the slowest car out that night. In the 1/8 mi. I ran a 12.5 and a 12.3. This is with 17's on but dang, how slow can it go? I'm hoping to be in the low to mid 9's after the swap. I'm doing the motor mentioned above with a mild street/strip cam, crank underdrive pulley, ported polished head, p&p throttle body, and a 50 wet shot NOS. I'm also getting rid of my 17's for some 15's or 16's. Anyone else have numbers for their 1/8 mi. runs? If so, list mods along with times. |

Pretty good time for a 4 door. My buddy has a 91 Si hatch that he runs the B16A1 in. He has the DC 4-1 header, CAI, plugs, wires, probably some others but he's also spraying a 75shot NOS. He got his time down to 9.1 with crappy track conditions. What I'm saying is SQUEEZE the hell out of that 4 door! Nice run though.
