i am looking at getting a lsd for my b18b. the ones that i am looking at are either a cusco or a quaife but the price is a little steep.I have also seen a obx lsd for less than half the price. if anybody has any info about the obx lsd good or bad please post it thanks

Re: lsd for b18b

i dont know about the obx stuff ..at most times thier simple stuff like turbo manifolds and testpipes never fit right or crack ..so for a tranny part i wouldnt if i were you.. i think the best route for you which is a little much but ok is buy the itr tranny then sell your tranny for like 400$ that way the most you spend is 1000$ .. on my old b18b i got a gsr tranny and it was great ..i was beating 99-00 si's and keeping up with gsr's but i also had i/h/e ..but thats pretty good for the gearing .. because if you buy a lsd it still has to be installed ..lsd$$ + install more $$..and if you drop the tranny and install yourself you save a few.. or itr tranny$$$ + self install you save .. im just saying i went to a transmission shop before and they wanted 700$ to install my tranny so i did it myself .. it was hard with car jacks but i did it ..
