P0740
Heres the deal, i have a 2000 GMC Jimmy and the past couple of weeks my truck has been acting up while im driving down the road.....my truck will be running at 2000 RPM's and drop to 1500 RPM's then back up to 2000 RPM's and so on and so on. Its not really bogging the engine down or anything just real agrivating and messing with my gas mileage, but anyway i took it to AutoZone and had them hook the scanner to it and the code P0740 (Malfunction in the electrical circuit for the (TCC) Torque Converter Clutch) came up....can anyone help me out about what this is, and is this something i can fix or will i have to take it to a shop. Thanx any help will be much appreciated.
