Another hub question . . .
I have read all the posts in this section and still have a couple of questions. 2000 Sportage, left front hub is leaking vacuum so it won't engage. I called the dealer here and they say it is over $1000 for parts alone??? Is that sound normal? I figured it was just the hub. It is not my car, I am the tech so labor is not the issue. If this is correct I will definitely be looking into the WARN hub option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Another hub question . . .
The dealer is full of it. Unless the wheel bearings are shot the cost of parts is under $200. See this link....
http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showfl...5&o=14&fpart=1 Warn manual hubs can be ordered thru Advance Auto Parts. The last time I checked they were under $150 for a pair. |

Re: Another hub question . . .
Thanks for the info. We are going to go with the Warn automechanical hubs, that will keep the customer happy.
