Fujimi FD R-Spec review

Anyone who's thinking of making a model of this fantastic FD variation Mazdaspeed created, be well prepared. Fujimi just released the kit of it, and this is one of the most challenging FD kit I've ever seen.

Consider this as an inexpensive resin conversion kit, and don't even bother about good fit, because it's that bad. The body is the same as Kyoko's FD, which has separate front and rear bumpers and the hood, and that requires a lot of puttying and sanding work. The wheels are Rega Master 18in., that are incorrect. The funniest thing is that the rear wing is upside down, having indents for the stays on the top surface, or if you put the wing straight from the kit, it would generate lift. (geez)
Since the chassis is still from the GT-R kit, which means lowering the front is mandatory, I recommend getting Aoshima's GT-C, and use Fujimi as a conversion kit.
Thanks Fujimi for leaving us so much homework. ;p
You know what? I feel like correcting all those flaws, and make my own conversion kit for Aoshima.

Wow. Fujimi has really fallen behind - I would rate them four out of four of the Japanese manufacturers.

Oh Fujimi with more surprises from their RX7s. Maybe they just don't like this car (FC and FD). I guess their plans to keep production cost down by having 1 basic set of parts for different variation of a car back-fired on them.
