Unhappy Headlight Problem

Hi again...sorry to post again, but i need help with this too. I've gone through two sets of aftermarket headlights for my truck, projectors, and just plain clear ones. My problem is that no matter which lights they are, they stick out about an inch from everything else, where as the stock headlights are flush. Again, I have tried everything, I just dont know what to do anymore. I even compared the stock lights and the aftermarket ones and they look the same! it doesn't make any sense. I have also seen other trucks around my area with the same problem, but I have also seen one truck around town with FLUSH aftermarket lights. Any advice would be appreciated! thanks in advance.

Re: Headlight Problem

Are you using the mounting brackets that came with the aftermarket head lights or are you using the factory brackets? If you are using the aftermarket brackets try the factory ones, I had the same problem and the factory brackets fixed it. Hope this helps.

Re: Headlight Problem

Well I actually just bought the truck. I was told that He had converted the old '89 front end to a '95 front end, but the lights I bought were for 88-98 c/k 1500's and what doesn't make sense is that the stock headlights are flush.

Re: Headlight Problem

Well then it may have a diffrent core support which might be throwing those lights off.
