Problems with alarm, digital cock, and radio

I had my battery replace on my 1995 Maxima and the tech shorted out the battery fuse. After the 140 A battery fuse was replaced, my alarm doesn't work anymore.

The remote locking feature and the digital clock doesn't work. The Bose radio doesn't keep the preset stations.

I checked for all the fuses but couldn't find any blown ones. Can someone help?

Thanks.

What did he actually short circ?

There is still one bad fuse. Fuse may look good, but doesnt work. See the list on page 5 (below) and try swapping the suspect(s)

Re: Problems with alarm, digital cock, and radio

Thanks. I have no clues what he shorted out. After the installation, the power windows and sunroof didn't work, no dashboard lights came on and then the car died after I drove for an hour. When I took it in, we found out the battery fuse was blown. After we put on a new battery, the alarm came on then later it didn't work anymore. Power windows and dashboard lights are working ok now but the alarm, clock, and radio presets are not working.

The info on page 5 is for a 1993 model, my car is 1995. Is that something similar for 95 model?

Chassis changes 94/95, electrically lots similarities. My guess is that apart from engine ctrl, 90% fuses & circuits are the same thus possibly helping in this problem. That is why some chiltons comic books cooks -89 to -98 models into one soup... The -93 VGE engine & ign is different to -95. Check and follow the 'Favorite Links' to -96 schema.

Good info from Nahk, check each fuse w/ a meter on ohms for continuity. Also check fusible links which will blow and look just fine.
