Hello whats up guys! I recently bought a 94 lude, I would like some input on this car. I used to have a 91 nissan 240sx that i loved it buy it had to go. it was bad for the winter. enyway getting back to the lude. I bought it about 3 weeks back. it is 94 lude, with the v-tech. some minor scratches and the traditional rust spots by the fenders. it has 119,000 miles on it. it was over heating. old owner was told it was the water pump. but my fried took a look at it and it turns out was a just a hose leak. the car runs great now. needs some suspention work. a couple of tie rods, and 1 balljoint. I paid 3200 for it. the interior is nice, power roof, black leather interion, its nice. I need some imput on what you guys think. Was it a good price, what mods could be made to the vehicle. Again I ask because im new to hondas. one more thing i was thinking of putting new exaust, but would it make a performace diff or would it be just for show on this car. thank in advace for the info.

Re: just joined the lude club!
Exhaust helps the car breathe better so obviously it will make a performance difference but only if you do a whole exhaust package..a 59.00 dollar muffler from autozone won't do jack crap.
I think you paid a little high for the year but thats just me. I picked up a flawless bodied/Interior/Tranny 1993 for 600.00..needs a new crank though apparently XD oh well.. Do a little research abut prelude mods before you ask because if you ask something so vague..you're going to get tons of responses about tons of different parts. Name what you want, how you want it and how much you want to spend but just to give you some flava, You can do just about everything to the prelude. Motor, tranny, suspension, exhaust, turbo, engine, interior, body kits, whatever you want basically..it's a high demand car with tons of aftermarket parts. Welcome to the family and good luck. |

Re: just joined the lude club!
yeah... tons of aftermarket parts... as long as it aint' and 84'.
anyways, welcome to the club, preludes are awsome cars, and they'll run forever if you treat em' good. Id say you did spend a little much judgeing by the year and milage, but its all good never the less. Hope you have fun with your new lude. and good luck. |
