Passenger Airbag Corners...
Hey all,
Since I bought my car, the corners of the passenger air bag have been lifted up. It looks like someone was picking at it, or the sun made it curl. I don't have any good pics of it. Ill take some tm if I need to. How can I fix this? The cover piece is heavy material, and it's not really flexable. How can I get this to glue down? Thanks!

I know what you're talking about, i've seen it in pictures. I think it is the vinyl peeling off of the piece underneath. You can probably glue it but that might mess up the air bag deployment, so don't tell your passengers about it.

I think it plagues all n/t 2gs. my buddys gs did the same thing bad. My tsi is still good but I know what you mean, I've been trying to figure out a fix as well

Glue would work... BUT... its thick and heavy. Glue won't be able to hold it, and someone has to push down on the corners until it drys. I don't care if its a mess if the airbag goes off... the car would probably be totalled then anyways. And all my passengers know I do my own work, so they don't trust them anyways.

When I painted my interior, I pulled off the airbag cover and if I remember right (it was a couple years ago) they sort of "hook-under" the airbag frame. I'll take a look next time I go home but I'm pretty sure that's what they do. Try pulling out your airbag and re-clip it back on or whatever.
