1999 Land Cruiser remote programming help needed

Hi, I have the key that starts and locks the vehicle but its remote does not work. The battery seems fine. The red light flashes when any of the three buttons is pressed.
How do I program the remote to work? Please help.
Thanks,

Hold down Lock & Unlock for about 10 seconds to see if this resynchronizes the remote to the vehicle.
