Not my usual stuff

Repsol Honda RC211v 2003, out of box, won it at a raffle two years ago and felt like a change so dug it out. Done as the Nicky Hayden bike as everyone else seems to do the Rossi version so didn't want him to feel left out. The kit came with the metal/etch extras such as cluch cover, brake disc etc.

Nice work Neal, finish and decals look great. Good to see 1 of Nicky's bikes being done. Who's that other guy ?

Thanks for the info.

Looking at the photos scale 1:9 was possible, too. It is a nice model, smooth finish.
Maybe you really should build more bikes

Re: Not my usual stuff

Excellent model. I haven't taken the plunge on a bike model yet but I am definitely tempted. I know the dilemma that comes with choosing the rider/driver and applaud your courage. I am building a Ferrari 312T3 at the moment and I know I should make it as Reutemann (to even things out a bit) but in all probability it will end up being a Villeneuve.

Cheers,
BillyPee

Re: Not my usual stuff

Nice bike!! I would like to do some version of Nicki's bike if Tamiya releases some new RC211V... there are a few ones with the 69..

Congratulations

Roca.
