To all who can save my life this sumer:
i bought my 99 used maxima for around 10,000 dollars at 17,700 miles at the time the positives outwayed the negatives but ow that the summer is here i've realized that the a hose is missing. This hose connects the condensor to the reciever dryer. My problem is that nissan stopped making that hose in the 95 models, and ive been without a/c for going on three months. Its ok, most of the time since i dont drive less then 40 mph ever. I'd be grateful, if someone new a place were they make the hose cause the only other solution is to buy a brand new condensor which is 5 or 6 hundred dollars. money that can be used elsewhere on my car thanx for reading all this shit |

try calling some junk yards, and pretty much every1 on this forum has said that the max and ifiniti are pretty much the same thing, so ya might want to try and look for the hose on an infiniti or parts store for an infiniti

Junk yards is an excellent idea.
Make sure you have the system serviced by a professional shop after you find that part. Your also going to need a NEW receiver/dryer being the system was open for so long. Your system, being exposed to outside air for so long is definately going to need a total service before refrigerent is added. Make sure an A/C specialist does this work for you.
