In about 2 weeks I'm going to start tearing apart my 91 DX Sedan. Biggest projects will include an engine swap and complete body restore (Some parts of the body you can sand down to a 6 inch hole, and still not find any metal).
I created a blog a few days ago to go over the project, and if all goes well (and i have internet when i move back home in 2 weeks), I'll keep the blog updated on a weekly basis. While the purpose of the blog is to help educate those who have similar problems as i do...i'd also like to point out that my previous knowledge is pretty much inexistant. Never done an engine swap, and previous body work was usually done with spot putty. I've been compiling ALOT of information over the past month, so hopefully that will help the project along. I'm open to some, and all critcism. I KNOW at some point i'll do something wrong, so please, point it out if you see it ![]() Engine swap will be a B16a first generation...not buying the motor until i get the old one out. There will be other upgrades done to the car...but all of that information is on the blog! The link for the blog is: http://91sedanproject.blogspot.com/ The project starts in 2 weeks, so until then, don't expect it to change too much. The posts are all in reverse order...so try to read them from the bottom up Last edited by clantz86; 04-11-2006 at 12:39 PM. |

Re: My Sedan Project...
Good Luck...I started my project 3 years ago...and the car's been sitting in the garage with a blown motor for 15 months. Everytime I work on it I find something new to do. Now it's turned from an "engine swap" to a restore.
This week I am fitting/fabricating 96-00 Civic center console & seatbelts.
