92-99 Civic VS 94-99 Sentra?
Looking for reliable and good on gas. I like the Civic bc it is known to be reliable, good on gas and a butt load of aftermarket. I like the Sentra bc I do not see as many of them as I do the Civic. They are also reliable and the 1.6 gets great mileage. Both cars have the potential to be faster the Sentra I can get the Japanese 20rde motor and the Civic has a few choices. Which would you recommend?

If you can find a Sentra with the SR20DE motor, go for that. The gas mileage and reliability are fine (that was before they started building them in Mexico), and it's a lot of fun to drive. Though with all the aftermarket mods available, the Civic isn't too far behind...

I figured I could get the Sentra with very high miles and swap out motors. It's hard finding the 99 SE-L for sale.

you could get a 200sx sentra se-r with the sr20de or you could aim a little bit lower and find a b15 sentra with the qr25de...don't think they have the sr20's potential or aftermarket but they're good enough
