1995 blazer engine swap problems

hello everyone and anyone. i have a 95 s series blazer with a bad engine. i have purchsed 2 engines off of e-bay thinking i could put them in my truck but neither one is the same which makes me have some questions. i have a 02 engine and also a 92 engine. first question. can i put a set of 95 heads on the 02 engine block so that my CFI intake will bolt on? if so do i need to also change the cam? second question. on the 95 model the spark plug wires come from the side of the distributor and there is 2 knock sensors, one in each cylinder head, and a crank shaft sensor in the timing chain cover. the 92 engine i have only has one knock sensor, no where to screw the second one in, and no crank shaft sensor, and the plug wires are on top of the distributor, which tells me the ignition and spark generation is the only different thing. my question is, can i remove the timing chain cover and put the one that has the crankshaft sensor in it, and put the ring on the crankshaft that activates the sensor for spark, and also change the distributor? i know all of the blocks are the same for a 4.3 vortec but all of this other stuff is different. please help me!! i know someone out there has the answers i need. I just wasted good $ on 2 engines i cannot even use without modifications. if neither of these engines will work does anyone need an 02 engine with 40k? or a 92 engine with 93k? please e-mail me at [email protected]

Quote " i know all of the blocks are the same for a 4.3 vortec" This Is Not True.

Here's what I'd do: Use 02 shortblock, 92 or 95 heads, 95 intake manifold,95 CPI, 95 distributor, 95 oilpan. Buy new head bolts for an 02 engine, torque them to 02 torque plus angle specs. Use knock sensors and all other sensors and wiring from the 95.
It will run but I'm not 100% sure if the cam is 100% same. If you're in doubt, just buy a new 95 cam and put it in the 02 block.
