All the USDM Tegs from 93-2001.

In Japan, and possibly other places they also got a version of the D16y in the lower spec models.

Cool, the B18 wasnt used in Japanese tegs till the 3g.
All the 2g's either used a ZC, a D16, or the B16a (from 90-92)

ok, PRE-93, what AMERICAN integras had B18's?

it would be helpful if there was an engine matrix for hondas like there is for nissans over at freshalloy.com.

now thats one question i do know the answer to. here's the engine id's for all integra's:

year model engine
86-89 integra ls/Gs D16A1, 1.6L
90-93 " ls/Gs B18A1, 1.8L
93 " GSR B17A1, 1.7L
94-01 " ls/gs B18b1, 1.8L
94-01 " GSR B18C1, 1.8L

hope that answers your questions. also if you heard of a Ls to V-tec conversion or frankenstein. its a B18b bottom from a ls/gs with a B16A Head from a Del Sol. A lot of work but cheaper then a new block.

hope that helps

Thumbs up

Superb site, can't believe its taken me this long to find it. Was looking for a week for advice on a Jap import I was thinking of buying - couldn't get any so still bought it! Not dissapointed though

Trying to find out more info about it, It's a '95 Si 1.8VTEC. Where would I find the engine number?

Think it's the 170bhp version.

Also any idea where would I'd be able to pick up a service manual? All the docs I have are in kanji!!

Cheers
Scott
