Finally got the fuel pump done

Well after about 3 months and 2 trips to the dealer I finally had to break down and get the Fuel pump replaced in the Blazer. I almost cried when I got the total cost. $927.32 (includes a tow of $88.20 that will be re-imbursed)
Damn that really hurt my wallet bad. But hey the good news is that I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, no really the real good news is that now my Gas Gauge works. After 3 years of going by milage I now know how much gas I have in the tank. It's such a nice concept.

Just thought I would share.

I would be safe and go to about 220 on a full tank. I did however stretch it a couple of times and got almost to 285 before it felt like it was sputtering. I think it was just me being nervous though because when I did fill it up it only took like 16.5 gallons.
