engine question
How much does a twin turbo engine costs for a 92 dodge stealth twin turbo? You can also include the website for the twin turbo engine. I searched everywhere but i could not find it anywhere so can you guys help me here?

Re: engine question
I see them quite often on ebay. I've seen them around $3500-$4500. If your looking to go TT you'd be better of just doing a conversion. Read the FAQ.

Re: engine question
I would deifinetely buy just the engine if you need an engine for your car. And I'm not sure if you know this but the 3kgt has the same engine as the Stealth.
Edit: After reading your previous post I just picked up that you don't have a Stealth/3kgt yet. You would deifnately want to buy a TT stealth rather than buy a body and an engine. It would be much cheaper.

Re: engine question
well, if you end up buying it, i guess I would say it depends on whats all wrong with the engine. If your doing this yourself, I would find out if the heads are good or not. If they are still good, then I would either look for a new short block or get the current short block rebuilt (about $600 labor at a machine shop) and then just put everything back together.
If your planning on paying somebody else to drop the engine in, go to www.speedfreakracing.net and find an e-mail address. The guy who runs that, steve, sells JDM TT engines which are the same as the US spec ones. He'll probably have the best price of anyone. Then after everything is dropped in, whatever extra parts you have you can try to sell and make some money back.

Re: engine question
You can pick up just the engine on ebay for about a grand. Then just buy new gaskets, timing belt, and water pump and swap it in.

Re: engine question
Whichever you prefer. Both are fine.
If you are honestly considering buying a Stealth or 3000gt, please read our FAQ, it has alot of good information.
