1993 Dakota Fuel Problem

I just recently bought a 93 Dodge Dakots 3.9 V6, 4x4, Automatic, and I have a fuel problem. My fuel pump is pushing too much fuel into the motor causing it to flood and stall out. If anyone knows how to fix the problem please write back. I need to get my truck running!!!
