Re: Brake problems

Maybe you've got air in your system or a hole in one of your brake lines?

possibly your master cylinder is sticking. Did you bench bleed your MC?

yah, lay down in the driver's side footwell with a flashlight or drop light. I think it's either a 12 or 14mm...use a box wrench and tighten it.

Re: Brake problems

it seems like no matter where i position the clip for the pedal i get the same result its driving me nuts .the only way i can get the brakes to act normal and the brakes to realease is to losen the m-c from the booster enough to break the air seal and then the brakes work like the should.

did you mess with the check valve on the booster (the white valve above the MC)?

I know this sounds stupid but did you put the check valve on in the wrong direction??? Look on it there should be a little arrow that points to the engine.

If that is not it you might have a kinked line somewhere??? Just guessing at this point...

yah, that's why i was asking, it only works in one direction. Also, make sure your booster is tightened down. You didn't need to replace the booster anyway, as it is only a vacuum chamber and has no moving parts. Make sure it is not leaking.
