OEM Wheel Hub Part Numbers?

Does anyone have the AC Delco part #'s for the rear wheel bearing hubs? Also, are the fronts the same part as rear? Are there any other nuts/bolts I should replace while doing these? It's for a 2000 GT.

Thanks in advance for the info.

AC Delco part number for the front hub is #2017. Rear is #R2011. You may want to search rock-auto.com or gmpartsdirect.com yourself to make certain.
Unless you break something there shouldn't be anything else you need other than a proper size socket for the axle shaft nut on the front.

Re: OEM Wheel Hub Part Numbers?

Lynn, your part numbers are coorect. The GM front hubs (not sure on the rear as I have them on order but none on the shelf) come with the spindle mount bolts also, where the aftermarket ones don't. I can sell the fronts (20-17) for $151.00 + S/H, and the rears (R20-11) are expen$ive, $278.37. If you're interested, PM me with your Zip Code and I can get you an exact shipping quote.

Re: OEM Wheel Hub Part Numbers?

Thanks for the info guys. I'm a little shocked by the price of the rears! Problem is I think it is one of the rears that is going bad. It's not making a horrible noise yet, but I can hear it a little when slightly turning the wheel while changing lanes. Pretty sure it's the driver's rear. Maybe I'll let it develop a little more before doing anything.

Is there an alternative brand that is just as reliable? I've seen something about BCA's from Autozone? Or am I really better off in the long run just paying the high $$ for the AC's? I plan on keeping this car for a long time.

Re: OEM Wheel Hub Part Numbers?

You can't go wrong with AC Delco. I honestly will pay the extra for the AC stuff because as long as you get it from the right dealer the cost won't be much more than the higher end aftermarket stuff. If the cost on the aftermarket part is significantly lower, then you can bet it's a piece of garbage.

I agree that the AC delco parts are the best for this application. If you want a used one to get you by try Ed Morad at moradpartscompany.com. He specializes in Grand Prix's. Very reasonable prices for used parts.

Sounds like yours is doing the same thing as mine was. I changed the fronts with AC Delcos that I got from Rich. The price was right and the service was quick. I also don't understand why the rears are so high.

Even the aftermarket rear hubs are high. It doesn't make sense to me either, and I sell the stupid things,
