Aston Martin Door Handles

I know that this is a stupid question, but how do the door handles work? It doesn't seem like there is a place to grab.

The picture below shows the door handle open. You push one end of it in and the other side pops out so you can grab it and pull. The quick way is to push with your thumb and then grab with fingers and pull. In fact, to make it easier to figure out the 2007 model has LED lighting on the side you push to make it easier to find at night. The picture below is of a 2007MY car (only V8 and DB9):
