research paper on emo
a friend and i have been approved to do a independant study on emo. yes that is correct we are going to use mostly works from nietzsche to show why emo is bad and will exentually cause the downfall of our society yes it is true i am about to have to do great amounts of research on emo kids just so i can bash them in my research. now i have a few questions one where did emo originate? what is the whole emo culture actually about according to lets say hardcore emo'ers i guess i will call them. not just to the posers. i will have more questions to come this is just in the beginning idea phase now. but it has been approved and in fall we will be actually be doing the study. so i have plenty of time for research and for me and my buddy to write this thing. we are also searching for other philosophers that will help us disprove emo and show why it can be a terrible thing. if your curious where this idea came from read On the Genealogy of Morals by Freidrich Nietzsche. thankyou and all input will be appreciated

Whoa...Just bought Nietzche's Why I Am So Wise. Started reading it yesterday, he's great.
I'll get back to you when I'm done with it, sounds like a good idea though...

sounds good you may be of some help my friend and i are both in the process of getting everything we can from him. and our advisor is going to point us in the right direction for some other people to draw from this is going to be a blast
oh and our advisor was almost giddy when we told him about the idea he loved it and is being more then supportive foto us

Yeah, I've been getting into philosophy a lot lately, and he's a very influential guy, I guess. I can't remember where I heard his name, but it stuck in my mind.
I read for fun a lot...

wont be until the end of next fall semester ill keep ideas posted probablly we want to try and publish it eventually and im sure ill put it all over the net, w/ some help from you guys. this will be a long process though because its going to be just one big paper for 3 credit hours so its no joke. but i will keep updates and if anyone has any valid input or ideas they will be appreciated
