intercooler Qs?

so i just got a 3 inch intercooler for my 02 neon, but i have been seeing alot of cars with turbo kits on them with the srt 4 front clip is there a reson for it? i was just wondering before i pull the bumper off and start putting the intercooler in, i do not want to put an srt 4 front end on it because my car is not an srt and it will never be, and i also hate body kits, so that being said what mods will i have to do, cut the gril out alittle bit? or what else, i like the sleeper look so i really do not want to get rid of my front bumper....

there are several neons running around with full srt4 swaps, but they keep their factory bumper. you may have to trim here or there, but its not too bad. just go slow, and you will figure it out

Then mount it on the side and really keep the sleeper look. You will probably have to trim some parts like TEXSRT said, but you can keep your factory bumper.
