1993 ford ranger trouble

I have a 1993 Ford Ranger with a 2.3L 4 cylinder and is 2 wheel drive. My problem is that when cruising down main street and i try to keep it a the same speed it starts to chug like its not getting any fuel. I have just recently replaced the plugs and wires. the plugs didnt look bad. lean or rich that is. I was wondering if it could be my injectors. well if anybody has any advise im open to hearing it. Thanks alot.
