JEEP seat belts

Would a seat belt from a 1999 Jeep cherokee sport - drivers side be good for a jeep YJ 1989

Here is my thought on this. Keep an open mind when reading this. When it comes to seatbelts, i would not mess around. If i were you, i would get a brand new one for your jeep, and let a DEALER put it on. We dont want you getting into an accident and your seatbelt did not function correctly. This Only should be put on by a dealer. it take a special screw that goes in there, i think its a star head, anyways...there are certon specs on how tight it should be onto the fraime to work correctly. I just want you to be safe!
