Question blowing oil everywhere from oil filter

i have a 1999 tahoe lt beautiful ride,but all of the sudden when my wife started it ,the darm thing blew the oil filter gasket out of the side of the oil filter between the relocator and the filter .took line to oil cooler off can blow through them took relocator off both spring loaded vales move freely,had this happen 1 time before replaced oil pump,but its happened again,3k miles it lasted.when attempting to refill and install new filter and starting it will start and them blow the gasket again 5 seconds if lucky,all this happend after going from amsoil to semi symthetic,help
