95 eclipse sunroof is stuck open. Please Help
My sunroof is stuck open. When i push the button I hear a loud click, but no movement. The sunroof will wrk some days and not work for some days. What could it be?
It is supposed to rain today, so more immediate, how do I close the sunroof with an allen wrench? Sunroof- up down Moonroof- slide back slide forward I have a sunroof. Please help, I appreciate it. |

have someone push the button while you force it in and guide it through the rails. If it works sometimes, then the motor is probably still fine, just the rails are bent.

Sounds like the gears aren't making contact, is there anyway you can get to the motor to see if this is happening?

Re: 95 eclipse sunroof is stuck open. Please Help
..or maybe a wire's loose, lol. I couldn't figure it out, until I heard it was going to rain too, so that gave me the motivation I needed to find the problem for five hours.
Anywho, down at the base of your steering column, on the left side where your knees might be, there's going to be some wires. It'll be the red one, I believe. Push the wire in so it is secure and try that. That was the problem with my sunroof. If that doesn't work, I suggest you invest some money for a garage |
