Wassup i own a 93 eclipse Gs with dual O Cams (crower) and i need help with starting my car. Sounds stupid right ? Well Surley its not i started my car up right after i got it from my mechanic started fine seamed to be tempted not to though yet the same it still started. Next day my friend came over to hear it went in there saying oh its sweet this and that and it didnt start any ideas just had the fuel pump replaced followed by the ecu. My car trys to start but all it does is turn over..... no spark .... just got new plugs and wires.... Suggestions please.....
no car = no job ...... no job = no moneyThanks feel free to email me at [email protected] also if you dont have an AF account. |

Re: Help...Soon as possible :(
I would try to find a used coil considering you don't know that's it for sure. Check cas (cam angle sensor) and also the ecu. I know you said it was just replaced but check to make sure all the connectors are on tightly.

Re: Help...Soon as possible :(
coils are a possibility...also check the tdc sensor (top dead centre) or crank sensor.
this caused my renault to give up the ghost. cheap to buy and easy to install ( at least on a laguna) hope this helps

Re: Help...Soon as possible :(
Check the crank sensor before you go and replace the whole coil pack. The crank sensor is on the back of the block next to the oil filter housing. Be careful when you take it out though, if it breaks you'll be spending about 2 hours trying to fish it out of there.
