1987 ranger 2.9 problems! help!!!

truck died on the e-way last weekend. brought it home, and in trying to figure what what went wrong discovered I had no spark. New plugs, nothing. Cap and Rotor, nothing. ignition coil, nothing. Talking to local auto zone on the phone, they told me to bring down my ignition control module to test. Failes 7 times in a row. After replacing module, I realized I did not mark where the rotor was aimed for my timing. After turning crank shaft for tdc unsure where to allign rotor.
