Re: Heater Core Question??

It is not hard at all. Drain the coolant, disconnect the 2 hoses going into the firewall heater core tubes. Drop the plastic cover on the passenger side there under the dash. Youll see a plastic box covering the heater core. Remove that and carefully drop out the heater core and replace. It sounds a lot more intimidating than it is. Probably a 2 hour job give or take...I am about to do the same thing on my '89 as it just started leaking. Ill let you know if I run into any problems...

Re: Heater Core Question??

yea man.. this shouldnt be hard. All you need is a few sockets. I think you are talkin about the radiator arent ya? if so. it will be about an hour and half to drain the coolant and then take the core out and after that put the new one. If you need help on this issue. Hit me on aim or someting... Take care.
