how to install reverse glow gauge in 97 spyder eclipse......

hi I have a 97 eclipse gs spyder and im trying to install a glow gauge. could someone please tell me how to install this...and where i splice my wires...there is a red wire and black...thanks

When i wired mine up I got the power from the cluster itself!! I just connected the red power wire to where one of the light bulbs twist on to the back of the cluster. I then grounded the black wire to one of the bolts insider the dash . It was easy. Also i didn't have to take my dash or column covers completely apart. I just removed the black cover then you can tilt the steering wheel all the way down and remove the 4 screws that hold the cluster to the dash.

Search for boostedspyders posts on here. On his cardomain page he has a picture of the power wire to splice the red one onto. When you do that when you turn on your night lights the gauges come on. The black one just land it to a ground. I found it easy to use the screw that is on the right (just below the gauge cluster). I put a lug around it and landed it there.
