bronco II back brakes

I took off the back brakes(shoes), the brake line was cut, I'm not able to put them back on, the drum does not fit. Any help would be great. 1985 Bronco II.

If the drum doesn't fit, adjust the screw to it's smallest setting. Did you just empty out the drums completely since the line was cut?
