Question Painting Bumbers with Paint Can Sprays

My 1992 camry has areas on the bumbers where the paint has come off.

I am thinking of removing them and painting with a colour matched hand spray bomb. I would lightly sand and clean them first. Has anyone done this or have any good tips ?

Thanks.

Re: Painting Bumbers with Paint Can Sprays

Since the bumpers are plastic, you need to concern yourself with flexing. Go here.... http://www.paintscratch.com and read the various FAQs about the subject of bumpers and plastic parts. FWIW, I've bought from them twice for two different cars and have been well satisfied. The color match was dead on after applying the clearcoat. Be advised that their products are a bit pricey, but, IMO, worth it. I did have a problem the last time with a can not spraying correctly and they replaced it immediately with no questions asked.
FWIW
YMMV
