What Octane do you use?
87, 91, or 93? I use 87, the cheapest.

I wouldnt suggest 93 for a stock car unless thats what it calls for. With nitrous you must be a fool to run anything lower than 93 though lol. 93 is all my car will see.

set up the car for 91 octane.

87 octane in my '93 LX, 5.0, 5-speed, completely stock set-up.
No pinging ever.
Gets 20 mpg average city/highway combined conditions.

unless you have a tune or F/I it is a waste to put in anything but 87

The mod motor SVTs have to run 93 stock

I am not sure about the Focus, Contour, or 5.0 Cobras and first gen L
