Re: Crated or rebuilt engine?

I don't know if there's an Auto Zone near you but at the Autozone close to me a 96 2.2 engine, brand new 0 miles was about $1800. Hope there's one near you

Re: Crated or rebuilt engine?

iv got to tell you that if an autozone guy told you it wasnt rebuilt then he's dicking you. and you can get that same engine but with 0 mi. for sure for the same price and without having to deal with a core return, find the nearest chevy wholesale parts house. you can usually go to any old autorepair shop or body shop and ask for the numbers. the only engines autozone can get you that are new, besides going to gm themselves and buying it and then jacking up the price to sell to you is if you get a traditional 350 small block. just my 2 cents
