Thumbs up Its the fuel pump!

I have a GMC and a blazer both 94 and the same vehicle exept for the emblem. Both have 4.3 vortec engines. Just letting you guys know all your info on fuel probs helped out alot.

THE PROB STARTED WHEN I TURNED OFF THE TRUCK AND CAME BACK IN FEW MINUTES, DIDN'T START.
CHECKED SPARK, FUEL, CABLES. ALL FINE.
FEW SECS LATER CHECKED FUEL NO PRESSURE.
CHECKED CABLES, FUSES, ALL FINE
CHECKED WIRES NEAR FUEL PUMP, NO POWER TO PUMP
AS WHAT THE MANUALS SAY, PUMP SHOULD TURN ON WHEN KEY IS IN THE ON POSITION. NOT RIGHT AT ALL...IT TURNS ON WHEN U EGNITE IT.
OR A SEC BEFORE.
I HAD REPLACED THE PUMP A YEAR BFORE, SO I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD BE THAT AGAIN.
SO I WAS CALLING FOR A TOW TRUCK TO GET IT HOME. I TURNED THE KEY 1 MORE TIME, IT STARTED.
CHECKED IT OUT AT HOME NO PROBS, FUEL PRESSURE 60PSI
NEXT MORNING DIDNT START AGAIN.
THIS TIME I USED SOME STARTING FLUID, IT STARTED
CHECKED THE BATTERY CABLES AGAIN.
USED IT THE WHOLE DAY EVERYTHING FINE
NEXT MORNING DIDNT START AGAIN.....
GOT ONLINE TO SEE IF U GUYS HAD SAME PROBS
SURE ENOUGH SOMEONE DID...WHEW
PUMP HAS LIFETIME WARRANTY....WHAT THE HECK JUST CHANGE IT...
TOOK 2 HOURS BUT IT WAS WORTH IT
WIRES GOING TO THE PUMP WHERE FRIED REPLACED PUMP AND WIRES.
WORKS FINE.

Sorry it was a long story but i hope it will help some one else....
