1995 Caravan 3spd
OK I got this Carvan and it only has 1 gear 1st ,no reverse, no nuetral, even when it is in park and you start it it wants to move foward. And it will move in any gear position. So I hook up my Snap-On scanner to pull codes and view data, well guess what no PCM comunication or CCD either. So anyone else run into this? The only systems I can view is BCM and gauges.

Re: 1995 Caravan 3spd
You cannot pull any codes from a 3 speed auto , it is strictly a hydraulic unit with no electronics except the feed from the ECM that controls the lockup torque converter . You would only be able to pull codes if you had the 41TE 4 speed auto .

Re: 1995 Caravan 3spd
Yes, but it would not tell you anything about the trans, it is not electonically controlled or monitored. Sounds like your shifter linkage is broke.

Re: 1995 Caravan 3spd
I have a Snap-On scanner MT2500 one of the best scanners out there in some peoples opinions. I can get into the BCM using the CCD plug under the dash. The other plug on the strut tower drivers side is the one to pull PCM codes.
