I'm looking at doing a swap, has anybody done it? Or any other non BMW swap ie Chev etc. Any help would be much appreciated! Regards, Ian Staples. New Zealand

My question is why? That inline 3.5 lire six of BMWs is perhaps the best six they ever built.

Hi my bmw motor is well past fixing .The gmv6 is cheap and go forever and are very plentyfull here in N.Z where as you don't find bmws under every hedge. If I findout I'm opening a tin of worms with the electrics I may keep hunting for a bmw 3.5
