Looking into prelude, few questions..
I had a 1988 SI i got for free a while back..went through two head jobs because of the interference valve system..anywho on with the story and questions -
I have a friend who wants to sell is 1993 prelude with 109,000 miles. He put a H22 in it and like a 800.00 rebuild on the motor and now apparently it doesn't run so he said give him 600.00 for it and its all mine. I am going to buy the car either way but heres the kicker..it's an automatic..Now..with the H22 being in it, can I convert it to a Manual transmission or is this impossible for this car ? If I can convert it to manual, what all do I need besides the basics such as clutch line, master/slave, transmission, flywheel, clutch, throw out, fork, pilot, pressure plate, pedal assembly, ecu ?, shifter linkage, shifter, knob, boot, trim. Another two question and that wraps it up, does the H22 have a interference head as well as the B20A ? if so..how reliable is that head and timing belt system ? Any info is much appreciated guys

Re: Looking into prelude, few questions..
Good to hear i can swap. I can get a tranny for 100.00 so not a big issue but would you recomend a new master and slave over a used one ? what about the ECU will it need to come from a manual prelude or can I use mine ?
