does a MKIII use a 2jz-gt engine?
does it?.....and is it the same one that is in the IS300?.......anda is there a engine such as a 1jz...?....thx guys....not used to toyota engine codes...nissan codes are much easier to remember...

No the MKIV does
The MKIII comes stock with the 3.0 l inline 6 called the 7MGE (NA) 200hp stock and a 7MGTE (Turbo) 230hp stock But in japan models from 89 - 92 they but a 2.8 1JZGTE (Twin Turbo) You can put a 2J in a MKIII with some work and $$$$$$$$$$ HTH

-MKIV Supra TT 2JZ-GE -MKIV Supra N/A -Lexus GS300 -Lexus SC300 -Lexus IS300 1JZ-GTE -Toyota Soarer(Japan) -89-92 Supra(Japan) The 1JZ-GTE is 2.5L The 2JZ-GTE and 1JZ-GTE can fit in the MK3 Supra with money, a lot of fabricating, and the right person with knowledge of how to do the swap.
