Correct IAC valve wiring

ok, the connector on my iac valve has been busted off since a previous owner, i just got a new one from checker, and i need to know what color wire goes where.......... its an 87 2.8

I have the shop manuals for the 89 S10 Blazer - what color wires do you have. I can take a look at my manual in a while - cutting grass right now

That sounds right


I may have to get a picture from the vehicle to make absolutely sure but


Blue-white goes to pin D

Blue-Black goes to pin C

Green-White goes to pin B

Green-Black goes to pin A

Do you need this info tonight - I can take a picture of the shop manual page - it shows the connector and pin arrangement.

A picture is worth a thousands words - especially mine LOL

You can check on your IAC - the coils are on pins D to C and also A to B


Well I have the picture here - is there a way to upload it from the hardrive - it seems to want a web url and that is too much to deal with right now.

I can e-mail it to you
