Didn't one of you guys get 25+ mpg with a Z28?
It seems like someone on here with a Z28 said they got 27 mpg or about that. I think it was a white convertible. I'm thinkiing of buying one and it is a decision I need to make tonight. I was getting 30 mpg on my 3.4. how do you guys do?

I would get around mid 20's in my car on the highway.

I'm pretty set on getting it. I always wanted a Z28 since I was into cars and now that the opportunity comes up I'm almost choosing between it and my girl. I'm leaning toward the car and letting her leave me if she thinks I'm not that important that she'll leave me over a car.

I can't afford a LS1, my parents are financing most of this since I got valedictorian. I found out today.

I got 30mpg on the expressway after a few of my mods.... average is probably 25mpg

On my trip to Mississippi in an LS1 we were getting mid 20's the whole way (24-25) in a bone stock auto car, with jaunts well into the 100-130 range on each tank.

ditto on the stick thing. Didnt the 98+ t56 get a .5 to 1 final drive?

I get about 8 highway... and about 6 city.
If the 98+ T56 got a .5 final... I may have to go to some salvage yards. Maybe I could kick it up to 15 mpg or so!
